Greensboro’s Grace Counseling & Wellness Receives $10,000 Grant 

Bank Grants $50,000 to Small Businesses Across N.C. in 2024

DURHAM, N.C. – June 28, 2024 – M&F Bank, the only Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) and minority-owned bank in North Carolina, in partnership with the Fiserv Back2Business Program, granted $10,000 to Grace Counseling and Wellness, PLLC during a reception at its Greensboro branch June 25. The grant is part of the bank’s new Empowering Growth Small Business Grant program, which will distribute a total of $50,000 to small businesses across North Carolina throughout 2024. 

Surrounded by community and business leaders, board members, and friends and family, Grace Counseling and Wellness owner Sation Konchellah received a giant check that will help provide ongoing mental health services to people of color. The company provides counseling and supervision to adults, couples and teens. The practice is made up of eight licensed clinical mental health counselors on a mission to uplift and guide clients as they transition toward the life they envision for themselves.
